HOW IT WORKS

THE SET UP
The HIVE system starts with placing encrypted decals with unique identifiers on each piece of equipment. These include model and serial numbers, GPS location, and other vital information. Our system experts will work with you to capture all the necessary data and upload it into our system. Integration into your business system to auto open a work order is possible with our API interface tools.

REQUESTING SERVICE

When equipment needs service, the user simply scans the code with the HIVE or your private branded mobile app to begin the process. The app will guide the user to verify the equipment, note the issue and provide a photo for reference. The service call gets immediately logged in the system and sent to the service provider. Less time than texting the info.

 

Note: If client scans same unit, they will be notified that a service call has already been placed.

DISPATCH

The service technician is dispatched with knowledge of the issue, visual identification of the component that’s not working, and the exact GPS location of the equipment. The dispatcher can ensure the technician has the parts required to repair the equipment before traveling to the site. 

REAL-TIME UPDATES

The service technician arrives, scans the encrypted decal, and both the client and dispatcher are instantly notified that the technician is onsite. 

Once the technician completes the repair, the decal is scanned again, and both the client and dispatcher are instantly notified of job completion

    Yes. The HIVEQR App is how you access the technology. It’s easy to use and available for free download in the Apple App Store or on Google Play.
  • WHAT HAPPENS IF THE DECAL GETS DAMAGED?
    The app has the ability to search by equipment name as well as scanning the code. You will still be able to place a service call while a new decal is being created.
  • CAN YOU GIVE ME EXAMPLES OF ROI?
